Outer Space – Lesson 26
“I can play a memory game to read sight words.”
Objective: To read sight words and improve memory skills. (RF.K.3)
Materials: 2 sets of sight word cards (no, do, have, are, for, yes)
Procedures: Write sight words on star shapes. Shuffle the sight word cards and place them face down on the table. Your child and you will take turns turning over two cards at a time. Your child will read the sight words. If they match, the cards are left facing up. If the cards do not match, they are turned face down again. Continue until all of the cards have been correctly matched.
Conclusion: Have your child read and write the sight words.
