Objective: To read and sort words by adjectives, nouns and verbs. (L.K.4)
Materials:craft bags, googly eyes, packing straw, construction paper, crayons, glue, marker, index cards
Procedures:Help your child to create horse bags.Label them as “adjective”, “noun”, and “verb.” Remind your child that an adjective describes something, a noun names a person, place or thing and a verb shows action. Write cvc words on notecards and place them in a pile. Your child will choose a card, read the word and place it in the correct bag.
Conclusion: Have fun making upsentences together by choosing an adjective, a noun and a verb card. Enjoy lots of giggles with the funny sentences.
