Objective: To spell cvc words. (RF.K.2)
Materials: colorful foam sheets, wiggly eyes, clip art, glue, clothespins, markers, basket.
Procedures: Purchase foam sheets at a dollar store or a craft store. Cut the foam to make fish shapes. Glue a wiggly eye and a clip art picture of a decodable word on each fish. Write letters on clothespins. Your child will choose a fish and spell the word by clamping the clothespins to the top of the fish.
Conclusion: Your child will read each word again and write them on an aqua doodle.
