Around the World – Lesson 22
“I can spell and write cvc words.”
Objective: To spell and write cvc words. (RF.K.2)
Materials: sombrero, picture cards, wipe-off board, marker, eraser
Procedures: Place several picture cards in a sombrero. Your child will choose a picture, say what it is and write the word on the wipe-off board. Continue until all of the words have been spelled.
Conclusion: Celebrate this activity by dancing to the Mexican Hat Dance song!
