This is our last lesson for Set 2, Around the World! I always like to make the last lesson for each theme a culminating one to make it special. So start planning a luau party!
Around the World – Lesson 28
“I can read fluently and comprehend what I have read.”
Objective: To read fluently. (RF.K.4)
Materials: leis, sunglasses, books from Set 1 and Set 2.
Procedures: Give your child sunglasses and a lei to wear while reading to you.
Conclusion: Celebrate your child’s success by having a “luau” with Hawaiian music, tropical juice drinks, pineapple chunks and other Hawaiian foods! Aloha!
