Objective: To identify sight words…it, got, in, at. (RF.K.3)
Materials: sight word cards, plastic tray, sugar
Procedures: Using word cards, teach your child to memorize the sight words: it, got, in, at. Spread a thin layer of sugar on the bottom of a plastic tray. Have your child copy the words in the sugar with his index finger while repeating each word.
Conclusion: Your child will read the sight words on the words cards.
