I can decode sentences.
Objective: To decode sentences. (RF.K.4)
Materials: stick pony, sentence strips, marker, clipart
Procedures: Create decodable sentences. Print clipart to match. Place the clipart around the room or outside around the yard. Your child will choose a sentence strip and read the sentence. Then he will gallop around to find the picture that matches his sentence.
Conclusion: Your child will read each sentence again and choose two sentences to write on lined paper.
