At the Beach – Lesson 23
I can spell cvc words.
Objective: To spell and write cvc words. (RF.K.2)
Materials: water, bucket, paintbrush, sidewalk
Procedures: Fill a bucket with water. If weather permits, take the bucket and the paintbrush outside. Tell your child to paint various cvc words on the sidewalk. If the weather is not suitable, your child can paint words on a concrete basement floor or on a chalkboard.
Conclusion: Have your child read the words to you before they “disappear”.
