Digging Up Dinosaurs – Lesson 26
“I can read and color sight words.”
Objective: To read sight words and use fine motor skills to color. (RF.K.3)
Materials: white paper, marker, crayons
Procedures: Draw dinosaur footprints on a sheet of paper. Write a sight word on each footprint. Tell your child to use red to color the footprint that says “yes”. Use blue to the color the footprint that says “little”, and so on until all the footprints have been colored.
Conclusion: Ask your child to read the sight words again. Then get out some old coloring books and have fun coloring together!
