Forest Fun – Lesson 17
“I can name letter p and the /p/ sound.”
Objective: To identify letter Pp and the /p/ sound. (RF.K.1, RF.K.3)
Materials: letter p sandpaper card, construction paper, puffy paint.
Procedures: Display the letter p sandpaper card. Say, “This is letter p. The sound of p is /p/.” (Be careful to say only the /p/ sound without adding “uh” to it.) Model how letter p is formed.
