Forest Fun – Lesson 20
“I can spell cvc words.”
Objective: To spell cvc words. (RF.K.2)
Materials: magnetic letters, (t, b, c, m, p, f, a) metal baking sheet.
Procedures: Say a word from the list and have your child spell the word on the baking sheet with magnetic letters. Word list: bat, cat, fat, pat, mat, tab, cab, tap, cap, bam, Pam
Conclusion: Ask your child to read each word on the spelling list. Then let your child be the teacher and read words for you to spell. Pretend to make a mistake for her to “catch!”
