Forest Fun – Lesson 26
“I can read cvc words and match them to pictures.”
Objective: To decode cvc words and match them to the pictures. (RF.K.2)
Materials: word cards and picture cards
Procedures: Place several picture cards on the table. Give your child a word card to read such as “map”. Your child will sound out the word and match it to the picture of a map. Continue until all words have been read and matched to their picture.
Conclusion: Collect the picture cards and have your child read the word cards again.
