Lesson 9
I can decode words having two vowels together.
Objective: To decode words having two vowels together. (RF.K.3)
Materials: tic-tac-toe grid, pipe cleaners
Procedures: Create a tic-tac-toe grid and place lily pad clipart in each section. Cut pipe cleaners to form X’s and O’s. Play tic-tac-toe together. Have your child read the word each time someone places their X or O on a lily pad.
Conclusion: Ask your child to read the words again and to write five of the words on an aqua doodle.
