Objective: To sequence sentences to retell a story. (RL.K.2)
Materials: sentence strips, marker
Procedures: Write sentences from the story on sentence strips. Do not number them. Mix up the sentences. Your child will read the sentences and put them in order to retell the story.
Conclusion: When finished, your child can number the sentences and retell the story again.
