For this lesson, you will need a moveable alphabet. I bought a small bag of smooth pebbles at a dollar store and wrote letters on them.

“I can spell cvc words.”
Objective: To spell cvc words. (RF.K.2)
Materials: small smooth stones or pebbles, small bin or basket, sharpie
Procedures: Write a letter on each stone and place them in a bin. Your child will use the stones to see how many different words she can form with the letters.
Conclusion: When no more words can be formed, your child will read each word to you.
