Bingo is a favorite game for everyone and perfect to review skills. This is an alphabet bingo game that could be played with the entire family, especially when grandparents are visiting!
Jungle Safari – Lesson 9
“I can identify letters.”
Objective: To identify letters. (RF.K.1)
Materials: blank bingo cards, crayons, letter tiles, buttons
Procedures: Create bingo cards and write a letter in each square. Fill a basket with letters tiles. Play bingo with your child. Take turns pulling a letter from the basket. Say the letter and use buttons to cover the letters as they are called. Whoever fills a row first wins bingo!
Conclusion: Ask your child to name the letters on his bingo card. You could play again only this time, use pictures instead of letters. Buttons will be placed on the beginning sounds.
