There are several places that your child can write using water. The first example is a Water Wizard that I found online. It is similar to the Aqua Doodle that my students LOVED to use for drawing and writing! The Aqua Doodle has a larger writing surface but the Water Wizard has a sturdy surface and can stand up. Using a surface that is in a standing position, such as an easel, is helpful for children to understand what you mean when you tell them to “pull down” while forming letters such as b, l, k, etc. Other surfaces that can be used for writing with water are a chalkboard, sidewalk, garage floor or any concrete area. Children enjoy watching their words disappear as they dry! And the best part, no mess to clean up!
